This level will be slightly more competitive, but the emphasis will still be on learning, NOT WINNING. Each child shall be exposed to and played at different positions of both offense and defense, so that they may learn and understand the necessity and importance of preventing goals from being scored, as well as scoring goals for their team. Defense is not only for the less skilled players. This division must prepare the children for the next level, so that they will not be overwhelmed by the competition that they will be facing, and will be prepared to play any position that they may be called upon to play.
The Peewee Division usually begins around the 2nd or 3rd week in September. Participants should be contacted by their coaches sometime around September 1st.
